Chris Gantry

Chris Gantry is a legendary songwriter, storyteller, and musician. As one of the original Nashville outlaws of the 60's, he has collaborated with the royalty of Nashville, including Johnny Cash, Dolly Parton, Reba McEntire, KD Lang, Robert Goulet, Wayne Newton, Kris Kristofferson, Mel Tillis, Shel Silverstein, and Eddie Rabbit. Chris has written over 1,000 songs! One such song, "Dreams Of The Everyday Housewife," sung by Glen Campbell, went to Number 3 on the charts in 1968.


Chris has previously written for Sony Music, Warner Chapell Music, Faverett Music Group, and now writes for Cool Vibe Publishing. Chris has also written a number of books, including an autobiography. His latest record, Chris Gantry at the House of Cash, was recorded over 40 years ago with Cash’s assistance. Today, Chris continues writing music with some of today's brightest stars and living the life of a Gypsy Dreamer.
