Born and raised on the island of Maui then moved to Utah in 2015.
In 1999 at age of 13 he started on his ukulele journey. Inspired by the music of Braddah IZ, known for the song "Somewhere Over The Rainbow/ Wonderful World". He then followed the music of Bob Marley, Eric Clapton, Carlos Santana and many more. Any song he loved listening to, he'd learn to play on the ukulele in his own way.
The first 2 years he was self taught, then was invited by the Ukulele and Choir Teacher of Maui Highs School, Mr. Dale Nitta to learn advance ukulele lessons from a pro. His curiosity is one of his greatest assets. Learning to add percussion techniques such as Flamenco, combining it with contemporary Hawaiian and Reggae he created a unique style all his own.
Being a solo musician he has performed from Open Mic Nights, Fundraiser Events, Competitions, Bars, Cafes and private parties.
Jared has experience in creating, producing records and music production and continues to hone his craft through practice patients and lessons.
